South West Tourism to Close

It has been announced that South West Tourism will cease to exist from the end of March 2010.
With operational and marketing responsibilities largely now devolved to area partnerships, maybe this action was inevitable.
It is also be a sign of things to come, as further public sector shrinkage takes place.
Businesses must take responsibility themselves to ensure they are fully marketed and have plans in place to counteract the impact of reduced public spending on their sales, and also the Vat increase for January 2011.
Now is the time to act.
